Free Build number shows $1/month at confirmation

Hi! My project is on the free Build plan, which includes one free US local phone number and 50 inbound minutes.

I have no numbers in this project, but when renting my first local number, the confirmation says I will be charged $1/month plus $0.01/min.

Does the free allowance apply automatically despite this message? I have not confirmed the rental yet.

The key bit is at the top, that ‘all plans include one free US …’. When calculating the bill, the cost of 1 phone number is removed so you end up with a bill of $0.00.

That tripped me up the other day too fwiw, because I only read “You’ll be charged $1.00 at the start of the next billing period…”, so I’ll mention it to the design team.
