# Pay-as-you-go option for Egress minutes without committing to Ship plan?

Hi,

I’m currently on the Build (free) plan and have exceeded the 60 free Egress minutes included per month. My usage varies month to month — some months I might need 200-400 recording minutes, others much less.

Before committing to the Ship plan ($50/mo with 600 included minutes), I wanted to ask: is there a way to stay on pay-as-you-go pricing for Egress specifically (paying only for the minutes actually used, at the standard per-minute rate), without the $50/mo base commitment?

If not, could you clarify what the standalone per-minute Egress rate is outside of a plan’s included allotment?
