Safari doesn’t allow joining the LiveKit room if the microphone is enabled

There is a problem when I try to connect to the room using the Safari browser — it doesn’t let me join until I turn off my microphone. Does anyone know how I can avoid this behavior?

The issue was caused by my custom audio‑device request implementation.
