I created a project with the data region in the EU but in the Agent observability it still says:
“Data from observability may be stored and processed in the US.”
Is Agent observability only possible with US processing?
The project id is: p_5fpc2bumeyb
In Settings → Observability, under Agent observability.
“( i ) Data from observability may be stored and processed in the US.”
Thanks for flagging this. That message is stale UI copy on the Observability settings page; it doesn’t reflect your project’s settings. Agent observability follows your project’s data region. If you created your project in the European Union (Frankfurt), your traces, transcripts, session audio, and logs are stored and processed in the EU, not the US.
You can confirm the setting on your project’s overview page under Project data region.
We have a full guide here: https://docs.livekit.io/deploy/admin/regions/data-residency note that agent hosting (–region eu-central), telephony, and inference each have their own region control, so an end-to-end EU stack needs those set too.
