Why is session data missing in the new LiveKit dashboard

Hi Team,

Previously, I was able to see at least the number of sessions each worker was running and its memory usage in the old version of the LiveKit dashboard, even though observability was turned off. But in the new version, it’s not showing.

Thanks & Regards,

Anil Mohite

The data hasn’t been removed, it moved, and its source changed. The new Workers table is built from the agent telemetry pipeline, so a project with telemetry off has no rows to render. The old view read from a different, live source.

From where can I turn it on?

See here:

If we enable Observability, it seems to capture additional data such as recordings and transcripts. However, we only need the worker load and the number of currently running sessions, similar to what we were able to see in the older version without Observability.

Is there a way to enable or access only the worker load and running session count without capturing recordings, transcripts, or other Observability data? only dashboard i want to see like old version.
