Hi,
Is it possible to get a list of eleven labs voice ids that are available on inference?
We have all the default ones added and they work fine but we got a request from a user that there was only a male Australian voice so we looked up a female Australian voice and found e1nbKcfTL4XYy71tZn9J which worked!
However trying some other random voice ids they don’t work.
Is there a list of added IDs somewhere we can get access to?
I see what you mean.
The official stance is currently as stated here: ElevenLabs TTS | LiveKit Documentation
Custom & community voices unavailable
Custom and community ElevenLabs voices, including voice cloning, are not yet supported in LiveKit Inference. To use these voices, create your own ElevenLabs account and use the ElevenLabs plugin for LiveKit Agents instead.
Why that voice you provided, Voice Library | ElevenLabs , works in Inference I can’t say. It’s listed as a ‘professional voice clone’ so technically I assume it’s unsupported.
So, I would expect the list of supported voices to be this: AI Voice Generator & Text to Speech | ElevenLabs. I see Tom also shared this list in another thread, which has overlap but isn’t identical
I’ll share this feedback with our docs team
Which voice ids are you trying?
For our users we usually aim for 1 old/young male/female on all accents. So ideally 4 voices per accent but it’s not always possible with every accent on every provider but we try to get as close as possible.
11 labs is a bit different to other providers, the voices have to be added to your collection for them to work. Some (like the female Australian voice I linked in OP) have been added to LiveKit inference collection even though they are not default voices probably because it’s a common use-case.
Would the inference team be open to a community voice list to add to the 11labs collection?
Obviously it would filter out all voices with surcharges and stick to 2yr expiry.
If that is something you would be open to we could put a list to fill in the gaps for various common accents not covered in the default voices?
can’t you use the 11labs plugin to get it @Mike_Saunders ?
We are migrating everything to inference. It will be a bit awkward using plugin just for specific voices and defeats purpose of putting everything through inference.
We are working to make custom voices much easier on inference.
