This question originally came up in our Slack community and the thread has been consolidated here for long-term reference.
When the end reason is ‘source closed’, does the egress complete or fail? For example, if we intentionally disconnected the participant.
The ‘source closed’ reason appears when recording stops because the last participant’s track stopped being published to a room.
This reason doesn’t have a causative effect on the egress status. If there are no other issues, the egress recording will complete successfully.
