Enabling allowed_addresses on an inbound SIP trunk

Hi — the docs for inbound SIP trunks say:

“The allowed_addresses field must be enabled for your project before
you can use it. Contact LiveKit support to request access.”

Could someone enable it for our project? Happy to send the project id and
trunk id by DM rather than posting them here — the trunk is unrestricted
at the moment, which is the thing we are trying to fix.

Two questions the docs don’t answer:

  1. Does allowedAddresses accept CIDR notation, or must every address be
listed individually? We want to allow Twilio’s eight published
signalling ranges, which is 32 addresses as /30s.

  2. Does the filter apply to SIP signalling only, or to media as well?
Twilio’s media comes from a different range (168.86.128.0/18) and we’d
rather not discover the answer as one-way audio on a live call.

Thanks.

What is your project ID?

Once enabled, it will apply to all your existing trunks to make sure they are all configured.

Yes, it accepts CIDR notation

It applies to SIP signalling only
