We’d like to rely on the Agent observability for transcript and usage report summary.
But when enabling the Agent observability in the project settings, I see the disclaimed “Data from observability may be stored and processed in the US”
Is this true even when region pinning is enabled? How can we ensure Agent observability EU data and US data is only processed and stored in their respective regions?
So the “may be stored and processed in the US” disclaimer stands as the current public statement for observability data; for an EU-only commitment, Cloud support or a DPA request from sales is the path.
Hi @Bilal_K , I wrote a blog about regional deployments a few months back:
But the recommendation has not yet changed since I wrote that:
Agent Observability stores and processes agent logs, traces, and audio data in LiveKit Cloud. This data may be considered personal data in regulated environments.
As of the time of writing, Observability data is processed and stored in the United States. Customers with strict residency requirements should disable agent observability at the project level.
We are actively working to enable region-specific Observability options. Refer to the Observability docs for the latest updates.
I checked internally, but I do not yet have any specific datas for Observability storage outside of the US I’m afraid.
