Announcing LiveKit Dev Roundtable on 9th April 2026

We’re trying something new, the: LiveKit Dev Roundtable

The first session is happening on 9th April 2026, full details here: LiveKit Developer Roundtable | LiveKit . Hope to see you there! :lk-party:

Not a webinar - just a small, open call with people building on LiveKit.

We will kick things off with a couple of topics from our side, such as new features, demos, or plugins we have shipped.

From there, the goal is to open things up into a two-way discussion.

Come prepared to bring something to the table, for example:

  • A feature you’re building (or stuck on) and want quick feedback on

  • A real problem you’ve hit (latency, scaling, UX, edge cases, etc.)

  • Tradeoffs you’re thinking through (architecture, tooling, approaches)

  • Or nothing, if you just want to listen in, that’s fine too!

And of course, we’d love to hear your feedback on LiveKit - feature requests, rough edges, or anything we could do better.

We had some great discussions during the last dev roundtable. It was really a good forum to put a face on those you’ve been interacting with and ask pertinent questions related to LiveKit development and LiveKit in general. I encourage everyone to attend the next meeting.

Thanks Jonathan, we’re planning the next event towards the end of May. Details will be announced in the coming weeks, but we’re aiming to make it a friendlier timezone for those on the US West coast.
