Genesys SIP Routing to Livekit cloud or Genesys Audio connector to Livekit Cloud

Hi,

I am currently exploring options to integrate Genesys with LiveKit Cloud. While one option is to use Jambonz as a telephony orchestrator, I would like to understand if there are alternative approaches to directly integrate with LiveKit.

Specifically, I would like to check whether it is possible to:

  • Integrate Genesys directly with LiveKit through SIP, or

  • Use the Genesys Audio Connector to connect with LiveKit.

I would appreciate your guidance and insights on the feasible approach for this integration.

This should work directly through the Genesys SIP server, Documentation/SIPS - Genesys Documentation and as far as I can see, the Genesys audio connector uses WebSockets, so the SIP server would be the path of least friction. This is not a common request however, and I don’t have direct experience.
