I need to ask about phone numbers and payment

My job requires me to change numbers frequently; is that possible? I can’t buy many numbers at once. And how will the payment work? I don’t see a place to top up my balance to buy phone numbers

You can release an existing number and purchase a new one at any time from the Phone Numbers section of the LiveKit Cloud dashboard. Just note that releasing a number before the end of the month does not prorate the charge, so you’ll still be billed for the full month.

For billing, LiveKit uses automatic monthly card payments rather than a prepaid balance system. You can update your payment method under Settings → Billing in the dashboard.

What is your use case exactly? Although we support releasing numbers, just be aware that frequently releasing numbers would likely trigger an alert on our side as it’s a bit unusual, depending on your cadence.
