We are on the scale plan and with our traffic, in 10 days each month we reach the limit for adaptive interruption. Is it possible to increase the quota? or somehow pay extra when we finish our quota?
Welcome, Muthana. That 40k/month number is documented as the local development and testing allowance: adaptive interruption is “free for all agents deployed to LiveKit Cloud,” and the 40,000 requests/month cap (1 request per 100ms of overlapping speech) is for local dev/testing, not agents deployed on Cloud [ docs.livekit.io/deploy/admin/quotas-and-limits ]. So if production traffic is burning it in 10 days, your agents probably aren’t deployed to LiveKit Cloud yet, and deploying them there removes the cap.
If you’re staying self-hosted, the Scale plan can raise specific limits self-serve: Cloud dashboard, Settings, Project tab, request an increase. That’s your direct lever. It isn’t an incremental-overage resource (that model is for the metered resources past their included allowance on paid plans), so the path is deploy-on-Cloud or the limit-increase request, not pay-per-overage.
Hello @Muhammad_Usman_Bashir
Yes we are self-hosted. I checked the settings, but there is no option to request an increase for adaptive interruption requests.
There is currently no way to increase for self hosted agents.
@CWilson Even if we upgrade to an enterprise account?
Hi @Muthana_Alhadrab , I’m not aware of any exceptions for Enterprise customers but if you are interested in moving to Enterprise our sales team would be able to provide an authoritative and personalized answer. It would also be worth discussing your unique needs around self-hosted agents, since that helps us to improve our LiveKit cloud hosted option.
