Native WhatsApp Calls integration with SIP

Hi LiveKit team,

I’m exploring whether LiveKit supports a native integration for WhatsApp Calls using SIP.

Specifically, I’d like to know:

  1. Can LiveKit SIP be connected directly to WhatsApp voice calls?

  2. Is there any official or recommended integration path for WhatsApp calling?

  3. If native support is not available, are there known workarounds or partners/providers that can bridge WhatsApp calls into LiveKit via SIP?

Any guidance or documentation would be appreciated.

There is an official connector, but it is in the beta mode. You can ask the guys in here.
If not, you can try voximplant, also telnyx added recently

Also jambonz supports WhatsApp calling as well

Twilio also bridges WhatsApp → SIP natively if you’re already using Twilio for LiveKit telephony.
