Orphaned agent session remains “In progress” after deployment deletion (eu-central)

I’m running into an issue with a session in LiveKit Cloud that seems to be stuck in an “In progress” state.

The related room no longer exists (lk room delete returns not_found), and lk room list also shows no active rooms. I already deleted the original agent deployment. At the moment no deployment is existing

However, this session still appears as active:

  • Session ID: RM_ciQrPEEhjQev

  • Room: Tells_Room_c7cb1f2695474d33893110388b9f34fe

  • Project: digitaltell

  • Region: eu-central

  • Started: 25.05.2026 ~09:17 UTC

A few strange things:

  • The duration is still increasing

  • It still shows 1 participant

  • There’s no terminate/end button in the dashboard

  • The room itself no longer exists

It looks like the agent job may have become orphaned in the control plane.

Could you please manually terminate this session?
I’d also appreciate any advice on how to avoid this situation in the future.
